Yearning for Freedom

Angel shackeled by a world of doubt
Wings flap with a sense of urgency,
but only time flys by,

day after day,

night after night,

Angel can't you see
This world won't let you be
You are an angel in bondage

Trapped in a cage,
of inactive thoughts

You must hold tight to the truth
Let love flow from your heart,
So all can see the change,
of the angel...

...who yearns to be free.

I really like the idea, Walt,
of a caged angel
desiring to be free.
...for what use are wings
if one cannot use them to soar.
