perhaps it is the gingerbread of mornings
when you bring a yellow basket with smiles
and leave nonchalant over easy greetings
like a tip at the ritz when dressed in casual

or maybe the jewel of julie jeans seduction
as you glance back over the shoulder
a westfalia of imaginary trails to hike
in the barefoot of tennis shoes with heels

and you just leave my mind there at the brim
wondering how wandering your conversations
would be penned in some latin chanting song
more musical then worldly whisper worded

or how your fingers would feel in leather
as you slipped behind me an occasions of freedom
to gallop a gypsy wind highway northward
just for some day or two residue of momentary

when imagination made us of the same ceramic

Oh my, what else can one do but sigh? Word art is your domain Sir! A lingering pleasure for any reader.

"gingerbread mornings," "yellow basket of smiles," "world whisper worded" = beautiful imagery and good use of alliteration. And the poem hangs together. A very enjoyable read.

Uh huh, uh huh!  Love that imagination of yours,

Lovin' your title and all the little tidbits!
