Jerry Springer-Maury Povich
It's Daytime Television!
Judge Joe Brown and old rude Judy,
Making wise decisions.

Soap Operas or "My Stories"
Housewives love the most,
Same stories-different channels,
Watched from coast to coast.

Game Show Network-Family Feud
Newlyweds 'back then'
Those repeats of Millionaire
"I'd like to phone a friend"

Balladeer likes Classic Golf
Memories so fun
watching Arnold Palmer
From 1961

Black and white old reruns
And I've heard it said,
Lassie donned a horse-suit
And starred as Mr. Ed.

So grab your TV remote
Then try to Press Your Luck
No matter what the channel is,
Daytime TV sucks!!

1961? That's before Jack Nicklaus turned pro, right?

Yeah, I gots to agree that daytime TV sucks, especially now that folks off cable or satellite can't get much decent reception (the great digital switchover, bah!).

Thanks for a good read. One hasn't truly lived today's skid row homie until watching the Mexican TV version of the Springer show.

No kidding!!! Um, well, except
for the criminally insane shows...

working.
