A kiss is a bird,
its wings are freedom,
it has no fear of vertigo
neither clouds or cold,
a kiss is a bird
flying all over sheer hills
and disappointing forests,
all over deceiptful dreams
light in the air, in the wind,
a kiss can be a wild bird
tearing dresses or tears
and crossing horizons
but a kiss is a bird
never forgetting to raise,
to accept and to seek
always forgiving the slowness
of the ground.

fearless is the kiss of freedom
honest is the kiss of true love
and
gratitude is our life's ante.

The last two lines of a kiss forgiving the slowness of the ground left me with a question.  By that do you mean that kisses are not only for grand things but for mundane ones as well?

Hello Earl, I didn't mean that but it takes and obvious sense too, so your opinion fits with new look on my words....the original idea was that kisses are made to raise ourselves above contingencies like the bird fly over the ground which is so imperfect and sad sometimes....However I appreciate a lot your remark and what it suggests...Thanks a lot

Ah, to take flight through a kiss...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
