thy poetry was but pottery without piety
without that shimmering sheen shrug
of baked on candy coating callous

never before the aforementionablly noted
it was but the lingering fingering digit
dialing knots from oughts and noughts

occasionally without occasion of occurance
that strum thrummed on rum rubbed drums
by mandible voices of man double in choices

to speak his wit and wag his welcome wheels
or to wheel his welcome beyond that wag of wit
into monotone ocean of slower motion lotion

harshly bedraggled but hearthruggedly bedded

___________

daark (scribblenote..expressed while holding some of my recent poetry exericses up to a blank wall for reflective purposes.)
