I love this!!! It's a beautiful haiku accopanied by a perfect picture, plus my Grandma loved pansies, so you just reminded me of her with this She would have loved your haiku also.

They are beautiful (remind me a lot of the bright, colorful flowers of the Moss Rose) and they are in full bloom in areas down here now (especially where seeds were strewn along some of the roadways over the years).

Last just long enough to make you wish for more, yet not long enough to allow their beauty to become commonplace.

I usually don't think of red as being tender, but where tenderness is strong, so is life.  This is beautiful, and I wore a paper poppy yesterday...
