I think I might need a drink
Though I’d rather not drink alone.
I’m ready to give her a ring
Though she never picks up her phone.
I’m ready to tie the knot -
The rope on my neck doesn’t faze me.
She loves me? She loves me not?
I torture flies when I can’t find daisies.

Poor flies and daisies! You are ready and that says it all. No doubt such a big change (for the better) in life is a good occasion for a drink. Champagne for two then!
