  This World of Early Spring

As the fine-clear evening
moonbeam rooftop dance
chases her ever restless spirit
through the lovely fleeting
   twilight,
the quintessential question
   becomes simply ...
how shall we count the ways
to love this world of early
   Spring?

Yo Secondhanddreampoet,

How many ways indeed.  You have the right idea here.

I don't know if I can count that high, Bruce.
Nature is such a wonderful gift and you do it great honor with your words.

"How shall we count the ways".  Yes, indeed but how many people bother with that these days when so much is taken for granted.  Always enjoy your words.

Very beautiful.  Though light of subject, there is a sadness in the dance.

''how shall we count the ways to love this world of early spring?''...a great line and how about the answer? By counting the new leaves, the bird song, the flowers unfurling, all ways we can count the ways to love the early spring..thank you for this colourful blossom of a poem..
