a simple whack or two with the ax wouldn't do she kept on whacking till she was through reducing the family to only two There must be a poem in here somewhere. |

Ha! The case of Lizzie Borden has always fascinated me for some bloody reason. There must be a poem in here somewhere. |

She got away with it too . . . In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal. |

Thank you, Yann. I watched a special on this case on tv many years ago. I also had a book about the trial but loaned it out to someone. I don't know of a movie made but I am going to check Youtube. If there is one I'm sure there will be something on it there. When I googled Lizzie Borden last night, I discovered someone is creating a website called lizzieborden. com but so far there is very little on the site... at any rate, i thank you for reading and commenting on my poem...i'm glad you enjoyed it There must be a poem in here somewhere. |
