Fair to middlin' of nowhere

He spoke her name
and she felt his voice
inside her
Never before had she
been thrilled like this
It didn’t sound the same
when it passed his lips.
She was shaken
and awakened to
a sensation new
Little did she know
what that voice
could do…
laying awake at night
wondering what to do

This is really cool because it is open to all kinds of imaginings as to who the voice is, and is generally well done. Awesome.

Once the voice got in there and the connecions were made the voice skipped over
long distances to prompt you to write a poem like this.

Take Care

Eric

Yes, you say it in a most captivating way, what certain voices can do.

your first line drew me in and the rest of the words kept me captivated until the poem ended...great diction and flow to this wonderful poem...nice work, gal!

There must be a poem in here somewhere.

If they had to give one of their senses up, many say hearing - but just imagine what it would be like if you couldn't hear his voice again...

enjoyed,

I have a feeling you will figure out what to do. It's either wait for the voice to come back, or go looking for it.

The voice of destiny. Well done Lori. I love poems that although complete still leave voids for the reader to fill in. You made my inagination flow.

some voices are powerful and they bear emotions like no other ones, we can only guess what they are, not why, thanks lori for the beautiful poem,
