I was never good
with words and
still I will stumble
in each syllable
trying to explain
with a sheepish smile
and a nervous heart.
You bring out my best
and find ways to break
me in my most worst
of moments and wrong
idealistic thoughts.
Don't get me wrong
I never blame you for
all my faults,
until you point them
out. While baring a smile
and warm hugs to
divert my
attention. But what
can I do, my heart
is still yours body
and mind included.
We have such fun
together and why
would I trade it
for anything. I could
never
unless it was close
to being something
wonderful, sweet, honest
and divine as you. But
then what point
should I dare
trade if both
are the same...except
you are the original
and that shall not change
nor will my love for
you. My one and only.
