I've seen enough to know
I've seen enough
started killing time
and now it won't stop

I smear the truth in blurrs
eyes are wide shut
once in a lifetime
truths all tied in knots

I'm losing me, I'm gone
lost in the crowds
nothing else is left
pride is for the proud

and I've seen enough to know
I've seen enough
Yes, it's my time now
theres no where left but up

Massive wordplay here, Trina. You got down in the ditch and wallowed a bit, and now, as you said, it is time to reach for the "up" button and take it to the limit.

Wow, Trina!  I was getting so worried all the way through your poem and so ready to email you to cheer you up and try to help, but then came that last word!  Wow, again!  Congrats!

It's a tremendous feeling to circle back to the "get me outta here!" moment. I don't care for that dark, dank place either, but it is a wonderful feeling to come back up to the fresh air, because I really don't believe that any human might escape from the confines of the dungeon now and again.

Good job, Trina!

I suppose we all have moments when we are fed up with things in life.  I guess during those times it is important to step back from ourself and focus on our priorities.
