There is only you and the one I love
the odds are with me
even when they're stacked against me.

Contrasting desires
smooth like satin and chiffon
draped over the other.

In my minds eye you are fireworks
exploding in the night sky
and I am lost in the raining starlight.

My dreams escape me
falling into a restless sleep
leaving me chilled.

Quiet morning after thoughts
lie still
as the sun peeks through the window.

My heart flutters
warming to the embrace
of a love I can't deny.

Piecing together the shape of my heart
that beats wildly to a rhythm
long familiar.

The wordplay here are fantastic. You keep the reader moving from line to line in anticipation. The words spell out the desire and wonderment of love and excitement as in "you are fireworks / exploding in the night sky." Enjoyed very much.

I sometimes feel forever lost while
"Quiet morning after thoughts"
pervade my mind.

You know Bluesy, it always seems like a kind of homecoming each time I come back here for a brief visit before I'm carried off to cling underneath some shadow's umbrella. So many new faces, and still, every time I do drift by their is yet another picture of you, even more enchanting then the one before.

What unique relationships we form in this otherly virtual world. People we know only through thoughts that they share, and hopes and fears that they allow us to reach out and touch, with our eyes and embrace with our hearts.

I've never not loved anything you've written, and this one is no exception, it was soft, and it was blue, just like all things beautiful, like the sky, and the sea.

And you.
