I was in the courtyards of Vienna
The wind said its heart belonged to another woman

The skies were grey,
greyer than usual
with a hint of the sun peeking through from its mile high seat

She lived in a modest home
resting along the banks of the river

Vienna,
that sweet voice of hers
like a melody of beautiful sequences

The heart kept running alongside her skin
as it became the idle, pale beauty
like the morning fog that hovers above the courtyard pond, each and every day

What I saw in her was
A woman who could no longer be seen by the rivers heart
She tried touching her elbows gently, twice
But, the river kept running
