The gentle opening of a butterflies wings
As she prepares to take off in flight
The warmth of a candle flickering
On a cold and snowy winter's night

The sound of a baby's laughter
As it softly meets your ear
The beauty of a new born puppy curled up
Will surely bring a happy tear

Life is full of so much wonder
Everyday is a miracle for us to unfold
Still life is also a mystery
For us to enjoy and hold

As I go out on my journey today
I will see loved ones who make me smile
Making every single second count
For we only have a little while....

This is a wonderful little poem full of the richness of life and the fact that most people, me included I'm afraid, fail to observe and love.

I loved this, Amy. The photo is beautiful too. The tree/bush is reminiscent of one of our indigenous trees here in South Africa, called Caledendron capense. I would have to check my tree books to notice differences. I wonder if your tree and ours is related.
