Inside the Magellanic Cloud an image starts to form,
expanding it's parameters, an elemental storm.
Particulates are funneled in to swirl within its grip,
another day in paradise aboard the mothership.

Wherein the search continues for an outlet for these thoughts.
Through random coalescence my attention has been caught,
and sparks the need to ponder on the workings of some thing,
in words that sound as music, causing humble ears to ring.

A lexophile in orbit as he marvels at their sounds,
the music of their meanings and their magic know no bounds.
Miraculous in measure and momentous in their scope.
The poets' private treasure, I have given up all hope,

of leading any "normal" life 'cause when push comes to shove,
undyingly, I must confess, with words I am in love.

Well, I confess I've never thought of your head as the mothership although I was fairly certain there was a cloud inside....thanks for confirming it!

A poem only you could write, doc and nobody does it better. Make it so!

how could you not love a write that uses both the words Magellanic and lexophile in it...superb (or would that be 'incommensurable')
