A leaf falls
Through cool blue air
A squirrel’s cry

A cool breeze
choreographs
the leave's last dance.

You just inspired me. Beautiful, dear John.

Lovely!  I hope it was a happy cry.  I have just realised that I don't know what any of the calls of a squirrel sounds like.

Nice. Can see the falling leaf and hear the chattering of that squirrel. Nice again.

It is still very warm here but I can still feel autumn in the air. your poems confirm it.
