Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Heartsleeve went home
to her man unmolested
Feeling worthy
of the love he gave her
She stripped off her invincible
slow and sultry
and spread her fragile
before him
He engulfed her
in his protective affections
Freeing her fragile
she let loose her intimate
Within his powerful hold
allowing herself to explode
knowing he’d save
all of her pieces

Jerry who would you cast to play the role of Heartsleeve? And what would it be rated?

Wonderful...it echoes the masculinity of my own  recent poem, though I hadn`t even read this before writing mine (promise!)     Great writing!

Robin Williams could do it ... with an accent, but it would have to be rated "Family"

Ha ha Rex, very funny. Somehow I don't quite see Heartsleeve looking like Mrs. Doubtfire. And if Mrs. Doubtfire is starting to look good to you I suggest you sober up LOL!

Well get out the swiffer and get'em out here......

Light up the page you're using and I'll drink the wine so you won't have a cloudy memory.
