His muse resides in shadowed realm,
Where darkness rules in overwhelm,
No light his world doth permeate,
No haloed glow to consecrate,
Within the umbra of his being,
Lies no escape; there lies no fleeing,
As gloaming’s chains enfold his soul,
His muse; his essence swallowed whole.
Yet through the darkness, splendor reigns,
From the depths of suffered pains
Rendering mormento mori
As his muse sings forth in eboned glory.

T'was a dastardly dark ditty, but as usual in perfect rhyme.

Sometimes the darkest shadows bring us the most enlightening poetry. *S* I really like this... especially the last 4 lines! *S*

Nicely done. Gotta watch those muses.
