Doc Moose just loved his kayak to the max.
He'd paddle down the river to relax.
He knew that he'd enjoy it even more
As soon as he learned how to use the oar!

Last winter, though he wore three layers of clothes
While in his kayak, poor Doc nearly froze.
To keep his skinny body safe from harm
He built a little fire to keep him warm.

The kayak, made of wood, burned - no surprise-
I told you Doc was not extremely wise.
He quickly learned the axiom was true
You cannot have your kayak and heat it, too!

Oh my dear 'Deer! What a wonder job you have done...Alison would know where you come up with this stuff....if she were old!
Thank goodness you can put a fresh face on it and give it new life!

Oh, I know the cliches - I just can't think of how to remember them to put them in poems like these.
