The moon flowers are a vibrant shade of florescent fuchsia
with effervescent buds tipped to perfection
swaying to a sleepy rhythm
they dance in dreams
as bubbles rise to the top
circling in slow motion
spinning the twilight to a golden glow before the
sun leans down low
dipping into pale pink lips
trimming the edges of clouds
like a polish
glossing over summer winds
leaving a trail of memories
as if lifting the veil
that blows freely in the dark velvet sky.

WoW! This was poetry to the nth, Blues. Every line was as good as the last one and the first line was stupendous, so you know how much I liked this poem.
