Have you ever considered the meaning of
the unremarkable ampersand?

And then disregarding the finality
of linking this to that
flippantly let that same commonplace symbol
roll off your tongue?

i.e. me and you...
you and me...
friends inseparably linked by the
ampersand

I love it, luminosity!  What does O&O stand for?

Somewhere in the archives is this little poem I wrote a long while ago, about Ampersand's little cousin And:

AND
16 February 2001

And I love you,
little word,
for your brevity
and your Biblical cadence
and your graceful shape
and the roundness of your letters
and your meaning
and the continuity you imply
and the hope you promise
when all is lost.

inseparably linked

Isn't that one of the most joyous truths we can experience?

Beautiful!

I am forever grateful that a single o&o wasn't sufficient... for defying the dictionary's definition inspired one of my life's greatest gifts: friends inseparably linked by the ampersand. *S*

Thank you, Lovey... I love this and you!
