I remember you
The way you walked
The way you talked
The way you tilt your head to the left when you laugh
I can still recall everything about you
Everything we did
Everything we talked about

I remember us
The relationship we had
Was amazing
like breathing
Simple and easy a must

I remember the day
he took you from me
5 dollars was his reason
To take you from this world
From your family
From me

I know who did this to you
I remember his face
I told them over and over
But they wouldn’t listen
They wouldn’t
They didn’t believe
They just let him go free

But I wont let him
Tarnish my memory of you
Nor will you ever be gone
Because I loved you so much
You’ll forever live on

I remember the promise I made you
I’ll remember you forever
To this day my promise is strong
I remember I swear
I remember
