Tues-Wed-Thursday with Louise

There is a book I haven’t read, although
my daughter gave it to her father,
when it chanced that tonight I might
experience an upwind upon a movie…
but that was after this morning

when you, my dear friend came upon me
suddenly, and no, not in a dream
but full force, early morning, smiling,
your lovely long brown hair gracefully curving
around those wide cheekbones…

You were here, long enough for me to know
that there was something I needed to grasp.

Last night was the 3rd Tuesday of April –
I missed poetry night at Mokas once again…
not by choice, but by need -
to regain momentum for work;
then this morning you appeared, and
tonight, when I pondered upon your
earlier appearance, there it was,
”Tuesdays with Morrie” and I understood…

and I watched it, for the first time.

I saw, my friend, what you wouldn’t say, in
Morrie’s words…and what better character to
betray life lived well….all of that which you knew
I would find in time…via a nudge…

Continue on, my friend. Continue showing me
those slender fingers in a night’s sky,
writing upon stars, letting me know
you will always be a guide.

I’ll watch as you and Morrie…dance

I love you…

~*~

Much too much to gather into myself. This poem was speaking to another, and I felt as though I was eavesdropping.

I fell that way, but I could not stop reading your passionate and final thoughts as Morrie danced with your.

SunK,

You always give a new perspective to things, and make me think in a way I wouldn't have without your help.

I noticed that movie was on tonight, and I considered watching it as well..for the first time...

Just commented on another piece about hindsight.. I'm kind of regretting not being able to sit still for a movie now.

Thanks for sharing this with me, and all of us.

Jerry, such conversations are not always meant to be overheard, but when friends come along, then it's 'welcome, sit, have coffee, tea or wine with us...sit, listen, know...' you're welcome...

Meg...my dear girl...I don't know that my experiences are new, but I am always grateful that Ron leaves us room to share them in a way I never in my life could have imagined....I'm so grateful that you are in my life...and have come back to share... baby....

Lori...you knew her magic, honey...how can we not share her?

Bluesie...I still need to read the book...but Louise's appearance that morning meant I had to look for signs....she's so pushy!

Thank you all!

Sissie....I may have to read Tuesdays with Morrie again.  I remember the feeling I had when I read it, but not what it was about really.  Your time then and now with Louise is that way, about the feeling.  Hug her for me next time you see her.

Though I know nothing about the book or the movie I got the beautiful message of your love-filled poem, dear Karilea.

Those hints and nudges from beyond are so precious.

Thank you for sharing this.

Love,
Margherita
