Her cheeks became
What the children
Began to see in one another

How their feet
Were so small
They used them
Like the small coves
That hung from the balance
Of the eastern caves

She touched each forehead
Strand by strand
With the lions
Watching in the background

With her shy eyes
Touching each soul
Like the giver to the homeless

She was as beautiful
As you or I
But she was so fulfilling with that autumn breeze

She stood under the warm sonnet of the sun
Taking each piece of the road ahead of them
Slowly, she pieced them back together.

This is beyond beautiful, Tomer.  I would guess it is about a kindergarten teacher or a caregiver in a children's home.

I love the whole poem, but my favourite lines are:

She stood under the warm sonnet of the sun

and

Slowly, she pieced them back together.

Thanks, Dreamer.  I'm happy you enjoyed it.

Thanks, Owl.  Your words ring true.  She is a woman who is both sensitive and courageous with not only her words, but the stick that she carries, as well.

Cheers
