at times there is nothing else
it becomes an
affair
of such improbability
connecting to
and introducing me to
to a world
a world of mine
to be God-like
pulling puppeteer strings
murder most foul
unlikely lovers chance to meet
only it wasn't by chance
it was by me
I ruin lives
foster romance and birth babies
from white picket fences
to despicable streets
an awesome feeling to be so omnipresence
nothing can compare
the best whiskey
a babies' kiss
the love of a woman
nothing
can quite match it

Friend, this was phenominal, I hope I spelt that right, yes, phenominal. I absolutey love it when someone can take a thought I've often swirled about in my melon and put it so succinctly into words.

You done good today poet, I'm carving these words into my own conciousness for a better awareness about what we do.

Thank you for that.

Lori, yes, I suppose you could say I am in love with writing, and I have been for many years. Still, it was nice of you to put it so beautifully. Thank you.

Richard, thank you so much for your kind words, I appreciate it. Oh, I think it is spelled, phenomenal.

Thank you very much, Word Weaver, for reading and commenting on my effort tonight. It is much appreciated.

Puppeteer's, Sunshine, sometimes are ruled by their puppets. Did you ever see "Magic," with Anthony Hopkins and Ann Margaret?

I truly believe it is the simple things that make life better.
Writing - Life's simple pleasure. Enjoyed.

Ah--now I understand Kari's repost.

Understanding you, better now, too.

You convey very well the need to bleed the ink.

enjoyed Jerry.

Sometimes it takes us a long time to understand that simple truth, Trina. But you are correct, it is usually the simple things that bring happiness. Part of my happiness is seeing you here from time to time.

Well, I was just speaking for myself here, serenity. Different plans for different people I suppose. Thank you for reading my poem and for being here.

I don't believe I ever caught that movie, but I know your puppets. Serenity inspired me some years back!

Yep. The puppets are interchangeable, Sunshine. It is the ones pulling the strings which make them different. Thanks for being here.

I did enjoy this, Jerry.  Yes, a world of one's own but you draw your readers in so, no, not really.

Absolutely, Helen, you write and manipulate the puppet's strings in order to give pleasure to the readers. So, we are all in this thing together.

Jerry Pat, highly ejoyed.

Anais Nin said this once.

"We write to taste life twice, once in the moment and in retrosepction."

I think that is why I have always kept journals. At least one person got to know who I was. LOL  jo

Haha! I love the line, "At least one person got to know who I was." Anais knew whereof she spoke.

Thank you for your kindness in reading and commenting on my poem.
