Sarah's Horse

Sarah is country & western.
She used to ride
her horse in the rodeo,
where she would regularly win
and place the many trophys
on the shelves of her den;
but for now Sarah seems
to be content riding rodeo
on the beach with me.
She could get a new horse,
a younger horse and
ride the rodeo again,
if to her she preferred
that to be her destiny,
but she prizes her steady stead
and tells me that she prefers
to ride into the sunset with me,
her faithful horse and me.
