Closing My Eyes I close my eyes, There is so much to keep out these days. People on sides, Making noise about Left or right Instead of right or wrong. Religious people, Drawing up their blue prints for heaven But only if you agree Are you allowed to see them. The media, Bloated heads in boxes, Telling me lies so The rich can hide their hand. The weather is changing, Ice melting, 12th planet coming. New world order . I close my eyes And wait for love. Yoin |

I tell you Lindsay, When I think of the state of our media in this day and age my blood boils. They are supposed to be the watch dogs of our soiciety. So few people realize the truth about our television news companys and papers. They are all owned by EXTREMLY rich corporations and everything you see is filtered thru them. Yoin |

I read this several times since you posted it, and each time I saw deeper with a smack of sarcasm to the lines as you wrote of our society today. I find myself stepping out, as you described, to draw a breath; relate with my own convictions, and draw deep into my lungs creation that dwarfs our daily lives in its own majesty. I liked this one! |
