Ye of wounded spirit and heart
do not fret
it tizz but the start
of something new

I've placed you here,
unaware
of your calling
look up, listen

quiet your mind
for the world
and those who know not your spirit
merely confuse and confound

You are my child and I draw you near
hear, here
listen to your heart
look up, look up

and smile
my child

Kenneth, this moistens my eyes. It is most poignant and beautiful. I was just having a conversation with my child, my grown up son ... and I know what you mean.

Love,
Margherita

Well, first of all let me just say I luv your name.  Mine would be similar except mine would read martini at 6 (lol)

Love this beautiful and deeply spiritual poem.
