Music break
=
The wrinkles on her
coffee colored face
transform into signs
and musical notes.
She thinks of those tunes
sung while harvesting,
sung  when reaping,
sung in lazy noon,
sung on the road to
the jungle for woods
and for wild honey,
when waking Gods,
during marriages.

A drop of rain comes
to touch her forehead.
The cloudy tune breaks
the hush of her death.

I almost want to exclaim, "what a beautiful death!"

You broke the hush with a requiem that will resound into eternity.

Love,
Margherita

Another exquisite portrait gem, Kushal.  Forgive me for reading “death” as “birth”.

Yo Poddarku,

I don't understand this poem.

It's well written, however, its meaning eludes me.
