From my window
I see a tree
Already deep in winter
Bereft of all her leaves
But standing strong
Her limbs are silent
There is no movement today
Just a stillness that makes
You stop to see
The enormous beauty
She has become

And on this day I am thankful

Be kind at heart....for everyone you meet has their own battle to fight.........

Yo dearest RDB,

It's great to see you here.  I hope you are doing well.

I remember the big trees of Australia.  I visited a forest when I was in Melbourne.

Love Bobby

With the lawn needing mowing and the swamp cooler on it is so easy to forget that elsewhere it is winter...great poem btw.

Watching a tree grow takes time, but worth every moment.
I enjoyed your window view.

Your awareness of the beauty of this tree in winter outfit and the gratitude you feel, make for a rewarding, highly rewarding read, dear Roniece!
