Instant Sound

Wintering heart, I have heard the chill
Mourning still, the silent waves of absence
Turn back to fame, residing reign abundance
The lips be mute, though resolute sings sweetly
For volumes speak, the depths complete
A momentary blank skips time
Unfiltered, does the heart to heart align
And there, availed to share, ignite
A touch, a voice stirs embers full and bright
Eternal is the bond, devotion sure and fond
Burst suddenly, as hope its instant sound

the first two lines in particular ...

effectively capture the approach of (seasonal) Winter
... and the "Winter" of one's life and heart as well!

an apt and timely piece for many of us perhaps?
