Autumn Comes In My heart

In late summer – Autumn due,
I wait for day’s fading light
When all is cold, steel blue,
A tint to match the dark night.
I attend the ghost of you,
Weary in heart, weak in sight,
Only rest could see me through
This vigil that is my blight
A word spoken from you-
Would set me free from this plight

The weird symbols are probably a result of cutting and pasting your poem... Ron has some great suggestions for avoiding that problem here: /pip/Forum67/HTML/000165.html

Or... simply check to see how your poem looks once you've posted it. During the first 24 hours, you can make edits to your poem. Simply click on the little icon at the top of your post that looks like a pad of paper with a pencil.

I enjoyed your poem... Welcome to Passions!
