The shell, ungutted, locks
safe the dark of murmurs

but nightly we voyage

boldly, in  colors cashed out

though the dream abbreviates

the waves express and deflect
the moondriven sea

onset winds tell a story
usurping a harvest
of nautical miles, a

crescendo brims of both sin
and sanctuary

once ( for when we were roaming
the deep)
twice for the charred remains
thrice, a trinity rings now

at the strike of begin
at the segue of sands minus
harbors

in lieu of a shout on skyway
the constellations,
already cluttered

so nightly we stumble

at the digression of birds

on the recycle of "we"

Like "a perfect storm"  this came at me from all directions.
Love your choice of words and the feeling of just wanting to go with it!

Wonderful, you!!!

WOW! This is a definite keeper for this reader. There isn't much that compares to a great sea-scape write. Thanks, Mish!

You "stumble" but the reader soars within your visions. Wonderful imagery!!

..."in lieu of a shout on skyway

Pure grace, the way your mind works. I love following along the pictures you paint, and this spoke ecstacy to me... the sky so full, made room for one more shooting star!

Beautifully done - has to go back up the ladder, for more people to enjoy.  Loved it!
