Bones is sick of his world,
and the life he leads in it.

He wants to get away for a while,
just a while you understand.

He gets himself a tube of airplane glue,
and a brown paper bag.

He holds it up to his dirty little face,
and huffs.

It takes him away for a while.
It also makes him sick, and dizzy.

He’s too young to realize
that it’s messing up his liver.

Bobby

I remember a time when a lot of kids around here were escaping that way.

Thanks dear Brneyedgrly,

Writing poetry does seem to work for Bones.  I don't think they make airplane glue out of acetone anymore.  It's good that that they don't.

Love Bobby

Thanks dear Ida,

I don't think it's all the rage it used to be, which is a good thing that it's not.

Love Bobby
