ripples of dunes and weeds
left by the winds and seas
  rights of way, yeilding
  elements suprised
once mirrored, reflecting
  under a moon's reach
  struggling,
  feeling the pinch
hours glassed of ebbing sands
  rising storm's tidying edges
  scenes ever changing

weathered, or not
  batten hatches and
  clear the crow's nest
  for time pirates all
  plunge and plunders
  linking and breaking chains
reaction's endless warn,
  anchors a weigh

a captain's salute
  any vessel treading
  jonesing inner storms
  turning seas

Oh this really reminded me of a visit I had to Cape Cod, and being almost one with the sea.  Beautifully done, as usual.

Carpe' Diem,

As a kid I got sick on the Ferry to the Statue of Liberty, been fearful ever since  : )

Mysteria - good to see you, keep your feet dry!

SEA - even in your roughness there is nothing more gentle.
For you the beach will always wait.  : )

Craig, this is gorgeous!
I'll keep this in my library to read again.
Those dunes hold many hidden mysteries, tossed there by the roiling frothy waves.
There is great beauty in a raging sea, even with its inherent perils.

Some poems are worth stopping to read and then coming back later to read again.  And then to take the time to say --

I was here.
