The child that cries in a corner
alone as her Mommy fights.

With the screaming and shouting berating her
she curls up to stay out of sight.

When the Shadow Man hits Mommy harder
he starts to get even more wild.

When Mommy goes limp the Man don’t care;
all he wants is the child.

Blood pools around Mommy's head;
she got hit by the couch when she fell.

The Shadow Man takes the child tears and all
And drags her away to Hell.
