If I was driving a convertible
And the top would not go up,
I'd be stuck in traffic
Behind a garbage truck.

If I won a million dollars,
You can bet your life old man,
They'd get it all in taxes
It would go to Uncle Sam.

If I bought some property,
Like a cemetary,
People would quit dying,
(Now isn't that thought scarey)?

If feces became valuable,
There's something you could bet on,
I'd be the only person,
Born without a rectum.

If I entered a poetry contest,
It would be my luck I fear,
It would be judged I'm certain,
By that rascal Balladeer.

OK, I am new to this love fest, but I can't help get a kick out of the genteel ribbing going on, deep in the pages of blue.

Cute poem.

Toerag is back on the track!

I think that last fear has got a true chance to manifest, he will feel challenged. And you know what? It will do him good!

Thank you for the smiles, but tell, are you always so pessimistic?

A suggestion for the cemetery in case you consider investing in it : there is a trend here in Europe, mostly Northern Europe, to bury the loved ones in common graves. Only a shield with the names on it and well attended to greenery and flowers. With the economic crisis, the success is certain. All together, passionately.

Love,
Margherita

Hey Toerag, haven't seen you in quite a while. Where have you been hiding at? I am sure you will get a reply from our Dear Balladeer, soon. Or, your could come on over to the workshop. Hey, that's a great idea. Come on over. We'll be waiting for you. Want me to tell him you'll be coming?
