               A Whole Bunch of Nines

Going beyond a "crazy eight",
will it be a "windy" day,
this suspected day of infamy?

Be there truth
in what was said,
Thailand, soon, will lack a "code of red".

So, in the future
evil will have a pass
to freely come and go!

Thai markets will open
the "crudeness" of power
to a double prong energy flow.

The civilized world
has fallen asleep
to the rhythm of a drum and marching feet!

Oh,
Will it be a "windy" day?
This Nine! Nine! Nine!

ESG,

i am much concerned about the lack of security to be implemented in the near future in thai airports and how it will impact on the security throughout the rest of the world. the new wealth from petroleum resources and the governments view to speed up travel searches by reducing checkpoints to accomodate the traveler is crazy in my opinion.

r v ~ Yes, the Thai government reducing check points in order to speed up the traffic through their airporst, could definitely pose a threat to both Thailand and the rest of the world.

Your poem addressed this very well.

Nice to see you posting again!!!

I wish I could add something profound.  I can't.  I just know that the world is like a jigsaw puzzle.  Each piece fits closely and needs one another.  If we lose one, we can't fill the emptiness.

alison, you have added something profound...air flight security throughout the world requires all of the jigsaw security pieces working to preserve human safety. if security is compromised in thailand, it is compromised for the entire world!...thank you for the thought.

In the name of profit many scruples are put aside ... I am sorry to hear of this situation.

Powerful statement!

Love,
Margherita
