what was behind now overhangs.
floating as a faded facade.
                                    with undeniable presence.

winter.
               has been colder since.
summer.
          always a hollow treat.
                                    with scintillating pleasure.

wary familiarity. warmth.
drowning.
               in the beautiful comfort.
                                    you will always be.

progression egresses.
               efforts evident of explanation.
shine on through.
                                    my entangled muse.
