Its the feeling you get when everything else is dead
that purges your heart of all other emotions,
as you try to force those words to escape your lip.
Then the heart's palpitations become a tangible thing,
as each inch she comes closer to your body,
your heart beat continues to picks up its speed.
Her eyes are completely fixated on my own,
as if I am the only man in existence in this world,
and I stare as if she is the only girl I've ever known.
We embrace, and our hearts continue to race,
for the emotions now encompass our entire beings,
and feelings exist in us that can't be perceived.
One and the same, our feelings can interchange,
because their is no separation between our hearts,
for love has overcome us,and that is enough.

"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortals ever dared to dream before;" -Edgar All
