.

Pop
Sits on the bank
Of a turbid water

His bobber trembles
In the muddy stream

I sit down beside him
With nothing to say

Why bother
With words
Since the fish
Are biting

After all
We knew
I’d show up
One day

John,

You were wise.  It's never good to talk when the fish are biting, you might scare them away.
