jbstillwater Dad passed away and I thought people at PIP could write this talented poet their poems of dedication (if they want), This is my feeble attempt.

Stillwater Dad’s Passing Tribute

Among the wings of angels he did glide
Gracing Heaven upon the pearly gates.
Where he will recite his daughter’s Poetry
And there will be a tumultuous greeting.
For Poets parents receive special blessings
Having brought God’s gifted poets to birth.
Who were taught the love of divine verses,
Who verse now illuminates a parents passing.
Where tears of sadness, are blessed with joy,
So glad that a poet’s dad left in peace.
Residing among Angels listening to Poetry.

Dedicated to Janet K. Brennan, whose dad passed away today, may he rest in peace. I hope some poet write her some other poems

This is such a sensitive, beautiful gesture and tribute to Janet's Dad, dear David.

I will try to add a senryu:

*

When souls soar back Home

there is deep joy in heaven

though tears flow on Earth

*
Love,
Margherita
