you said you knew I could always look up to you
as you stepped down from the horizon's pouting lip
with that catherine kind of tempting purity

and lest the keepers of the saints would reconsider
how you, the woman of willows dances with her dawns
long limbed and lovely, a lady tree writhing quietly

then sipping from the brims of the dreamer's day
swan sighed suggestions of high heeled glancing
just a dance perhaps when shoulders would imagine

some gypsy violin whispering its velvet moan
and your lady ways down from sky in their gossamer
pressed to my shadows of windows as butterflies

that a statuary of leather men are always left considering
______________

daark (highway series)

Oh wow. Such a mastery of woven words. You are definitely a poet to follow, if one wishes to learn how to breathe out a dream. Well done.

D,

You sure drive an incredible highway - you and that bike of yours.  It takes a man of words to see the way you do.  And I am so glad that you are able to share with us.

Breathtaking in its wholeness, and the above two lines are of the kind that make me gasp and want to skip and squeak in childish enthusiasm.

Some kind of leather man you are!! While wheels touch the asphalt your mind puts on wings of rare beauty and gathers words in flight.

Love,
