Soul weep music drifts
in gentle surround
violin strings    sing
a symphony of beauty

bleeds softly into tears
  and I ask
oh how
this blessed grace
has come to play for me
it's sweet and tender
rhapsody

plucking emotions
no longer heard
except through the silence
        and written words

held in pages of memory
pressed against   the gentle of me,

It is here I would hold you
  in slightest touch of keep
    as the melody of you
          brings my soul to weep.

The greatest beauty on earth, is
found in the hearts of those
who love....

You render such a bittersweetness ever so lovingly.

Hugs for you, dear Donna~

The title is as beautiful as the poem itself.  Wonderful writing, GS darlin'.  I am saving this one.

I love the way I almost felt the soft cadence of a sweet, mellow song through your words.

a 'write' most fine! ...

I am especially fond of the beginning:

"Soul weep music drifts
in gentle surround
violin strings    sing
a symphony of beauty

bleeds softly into tears
  and I ask
oh how
this blessed grace
has come to play for me
it's sweet and tender
rhapsody"

MUCH (sustained) applause !!

Your heart is the source of this refined, beautifully rendered song of melancholy and sweet gratitude.

Love this very much, dear Donna!

Love,
Margherita

It is that last stanza that gets me too, like brneyed.

Great stuff.

You sweep me away when you pluck those strings, Musician.

My goodness.

I love the violin, you can make it sound happy, sad, or weep like a woman...and you have done this not only effectively but with great expertise....lovely
