Angel Prayer Miracle

Sunrise morning mist tears of evaporating prayers
Crawling cries in shallow screams sorrow disrepair
Guardian Angel ascending messenger in flights flare
Warning that a poet needs God’s sunshine ray repairs.
.
Sunrise unfurling whispering blend leaves songbird serenade
Springing verse of wakeup calls in budding breezes cascade
Notes sing harmonic flutters of therapeutic heartbeats parade
Orchestrating tranquility in a peace blessing revival crusade.

Last night’s nightmare poetic chill background vanquished conflict
Of youth’s polio memory crippled child standing Christmas miracle.
Restoration halo radiance enveloping weathered age struggle, inflicts
Walking Wounded Vietnam Veteran survival living suicide spiracle.

Orifice breathing in another Angel prayer miracle blessed restoration,
Where in Mother Earth Guardian Angels Garden of creative compassion,
One enters currents riptide failure flow of doubts, overcoming frustration
In a Declaration of Independence, to claim the very soul of faith’s passion.

For one is a swallowed hole in quicksand linen sheets evaporating time,
Or a believe in divine miracles of God’s given gifts flying wings Freedom
Taking command over depressions finding Democracy’s heartfelt rhyme
That “We the people” will never surrender our patriotic Artmosphere
Dreams of Heaven’s Red, White, ‘n Blues billowing Free Speech Uni-Verse
Miracle birthright.

Myriads of thoughts and interpretations ran through my head as I read your poem.  When I read poetry, I usually read it aloud.  Your poem resonated.
