Old Bones avoids pain
whenever he can.

He just doesn’t dig
the pain thing.

He had enough of that
handed to him
when he was a kid.

He avoids doctors
when he can.

He doesn’t like the way
they want to stick
needles in him
for blood tests,
and other extraneous stuff.

He’ll let them give him
a flu shot,
that doesn’t hurt all that much.

Bobby

The worst case of your expressive piece is that I hate when doctor’s gives you suppositories, sometime it melts the resulting words.

Thanks D.Lester Young,

I haven't had one of those since I was about four years old.  I must have grown out of them.

Bobby - please let me know where Bones goes for the painless flu shot, as mine seem to be always with pain...

Thanks Bill,

My doctor just gives me the flu shot in the arm.  No problem.

Unfortunately, he also likes to drain my blood out for all kind of tests.  He's been my doctor for about fifteen years, so I must forgive him.  He gives me pills to keep me alive.  That's nice of him.  He's a good guy.

So here we have the Achille's heel of that tough Bones! Truth is that nobody likes to have the skin perforated or any other pain for that matter.

We should appreciate doctors who try to help us, but the really good ones are rare, I fear, agreeing with you.

Love,
Margherita

Thanks dear Margherita,

Yes, this indeed is Bones Achille's heel.  Indeed Bones doctor is very good.  He's an expert in Bones diabetes problem.  As I say, he's been keeping Bones alive, and healthy for years.

I agree. I hate having to go to the doctor, myself.

Thanks dear Oklahoma Rose,

You have the right idea entirely.  Stay away from them.

Good thing Bones puts up with the good Doc.
Like my 'team' they poke, prod and drain blood weekly for tests. Then pump me full of odd sounding drugs to do battle with the cancer. I had to get over the poking and prodding, but will never enjoy it or the pain!

Thanks dear Kacy,

Thank God for you and the doctors, and the good work they do.  Keep up the good work, and feel better soon.

A bit of pain's always better than the flu.

No one wants pain, but life and death, passion and pain, love and grief, these things go hand in hand.

There's no way to escape.

But people often forget that when there's a thorn in their thumb, there's still a rose to pick.

Thanks Suncleaver,

Yes, a shot in the arm that doesn't hurt much is always better than the flu.

Of course pain is a pain anytime, and I'm not much for flowers, except for human flowers.
