Forever In Your Heart

In A garden filled with beauty,
One of Gods' greatest works of art,
there in grows the variety of flowers,
different colors, sizes, smells,

One day the gardener planted a rare,
unique flower in this garden,
a flower with the symbol of love,
of hope, spreading creativity.

This unique flower, unaware,
loved, as she always knew,
just being the way she was created,
innocence is attractive,

For evil can smell it, delight in it,
evil preys upon it, to destroy it,
wanting exile, death, decay,
just like satan, prideful, jealousies.

Unaware of their poison she became friends,
with the entire garden, trusting them,
soon she would find out, their danger,
the snapdragons, and their snapping fiery tongues,

Snap, snap, snap, about this one and that,
tearing down instead of building up,
telling lies, two-faced friends,
one on the front, and one behind the scenes.

What must one do, when the snapdragons snap?,
clustering together, tongues wagging,
forty miles per hour, jealous of youth,
of love they long for, but will never have,

evil hearts cannot contain love,
love and hate do not live together,
oil and water, darkness and light,
a heart is only one or the other.

One day the snapping got so bad,
snap, snap, snap, other flowers,
the caring ones, in the garden,
seen the true colors of the snap dragons,

The creator of the garden was mad,
furious of these old snap dragons,
messing up his garden, causing disharmony,
vile words, that cut and harm,

So into the garden tool shed he went,
with garden gloves upon hands,
enough is enough, he said,
and over to the snap dragons,

he bent down with the cutters,
and went...snap, snap, snap.....

In this garden, I see the overgrowth of wild metaphores...

Nice.

I love the parody of this in that there are a lot of human snapdragons out there ready to Label and Judge in hate's venom, rather than the compassion of love, excellent piece.
