I am slowing down
I am sinking
Was once lost without you
And then falling
Finally felt so alive
Let the walls crash down
Opened wide to the world
Never touching ground
I read too much in signs
And coincidences
Laid naked and bare
By all your hints and wishes
I wonder still
Playing what-if games
If there was another way
Universes could be the same
There should be no harm
Or fragile hearts in sway
Only to share life as it comes
Not to take it away

But for now, I am under you
For I am not over you

Nodding 'Yes' to this.
And that ending....speaks volumes.

"Laid naked and bare"
~ There is something very appealing about a man who is able to expose his vulnerability and be honest with himself and with others.

"But for now, I am under you
For I am not over you"

~ No woman could read those lines without uttering a little sigh...
