in seeking sole mate

left hemisphere
overpowered by
right brained
fantasy imagination

soles
stepped over
or on
too often
miss stepping

stuck in muddy ruts
again
seeking sole mate
hoping
to regain
centered
point
no sense of

gravity

fell
seeking
fantasy fulcrum
to balance
or

triangulate
not
strangulate
the outer limits
of my reach

tripped
again
over my sole
soul

"gravity

fell
seeking
fantasy fulcrum
to balance
or"

the way this reads, I can see someone trying to navigate the path...
very much enjoyed

SEA, 'romance' can be a rocky road.

Thanks, Shellie! Stripping to bare bones
writing releases tension, feels almost as good as a massage.

AW, thank you, sweetie!

Several quotable lines!

"fell
seeking
fantasy fulcrum
to balance"  ~ I hearya!

Kacy, the way you presented this 'sole'ful poem, effectively gave the impression of freefalling....

Love and Soul Light,
Linda

Linda, 'Freefalling' is a good description.
Now I'm 'hearing' Tom Petty.

Kacy,

I can't put it better than what has already been said!  Yes, stripped to the bare...  You worded this beautifully, Kacy!  Soulmates, you just have to luv 'em, eh?

Another thread, on the race to the library!

It is a necessity, I guess.... the fantasy imagination I mean.

I love this blues, it is a healing path ... which enables the wings to spread again in no time.

Wonderfully written, dear Kacy.

Love,

Kacy, this is lovely - sad, but lovely - beautiful, clever word play and stream of consciousness.  Perhaps God gives us trials to see what we do with them.  Some drown the seeds in self-pity, but you take them and look at them from all angles, then you treat them to turn them into positive little entities, then you plant them and nurture them and let them blossom into beauty.

You're pretty wicked, mademoiselle midnite. there is someone there. I bet he has a beard though, or at least a goatee. I hope you're okay with that.

I love my dog, and my truck. It's that simple, really.
